Welcome to Gold Standard Accounting! I’m Wolfgang Cunningham, the founder of Gold Standard Accounting. Born and raised in Western Australia, I’ve always had a strong appreciation for the determination and resourcefulness of small business owners—because I’ve been one myself.
Over the years, I’ve successfully owned and operated two businesses, each generating over $100,000 in revenue. I know firsthand the challenges and complexities that come with managing the financial side of your own business—and how valuable it is to have clear, trusted support along the way.
My professional journey is grounded in both practical experience and formal education. I hold a Certificate IV and Diploma in Accounting, and I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Accounting at UniSA, where I was honoured with a Chancellor’s Letter of Commendation for ranking in the top 5% of my class in 2024. I also hold a Certificate IV in Information Technology and a Certificate II in Security Operations, equipping me with a broad skill set to support business owners in today’s digital, fast-moving environment.
